City of Hoquiam adds jail register

The City of Hoquiam is continuing their improvements following the reopening of their jail. Police Chief Jeff Myers announced that their website now features a jail register for residents to verify which inmates are currently in custody.

The City Jail page is on the Police page on the city website at

The list of offenders is updated each morning. The inmate list includes both prisoners being held by the Hoquiam Municipal Court as well as probation offenders held by the Department of Corrections.

There is a release date listed on the roster page, but will only list a date if the specific release is designated by the court or DOC.

Despite reopening, the City Jail has limited on duty staff and cannot always respond to phone calls. Myers asks residents to check the new webpage before calling the police station to ask if someone is in custody or not.
