Central Park prowls mostly impact unlocked vehicles

This week, Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Deputies have taken several reports of vehicle prowls on Englund Avenue and Clemons Road, and East Central Park on Haek Lane.

These prowls appear to have occurred between Sunday night and early Monday morning.

All but one of the vehicle prowls involved items taken from inside unlocked vehicles. At least one incident involved forced entry that likely occurred because the vehicle had a number of power tools inside, including a chainsaw, Skilsaw, and reciprocating saw. All of those items were stolen.

Items taken from the other vehicles included purses, car keys, cell phone chargers, and more.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Department at 360-249-3711, or the Grays Harbor Dispatch Center at 360-533-8765 if after hours.
