ATV accident on beach near Ocean Shores sent one to hospital

Ocean Shores, WA – An ATV accident on the beach near Ocean Shores sent one to the hospital over the weekend. 

The Washington State Patrol tells KXRO that on Sunday afternoon at about 3:00 p.m. a 30 year old Tacoma man was driving a 2016 Polaris Sidekick ATV on the beach just north of the Illahee Beach Approach.

They say the man lost control while doing donuts and rolled onto the drivers side of the vehicle.

According to the State Patrol, neither of the man’s juvenile passengers were injured in the accident, but he was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital for his injuries.

One of the passengers was not wearing a seat belt while the other two occupants were.

The State Patrol says the man is being charged with Reckless Driving and Reckless Endangerment.
