Accident blocks traffic in Central Park

A truck driver went into the ditch on Tuesday afternoon, blocking traffic in Central Park.

The truck and trailer was pulling off the highway on Tuesday when he went too far off the shoulder. When the truck went into the soft rock, it pulled the trailer into the ditch.

The truck needed 2 separate tow trucks to get out. One was set to right the trailer, while the other pulled it out of the ditch. Part of the trailer dug into the asphalt, preventing it from completely rolling over.

The Central Park Drive exit from Highway 12 was closed while crews were on scene.
