Aberdeen Sunday Market brings “Watershed Day” this weekend

Aberdeen, WA – Now in its third week, the Aberdeen Sunday Market says they are expanding each weekend.

In a statement from the market, they say that on Sunday, June 9 it will be “Watershed Day at the Market”.

In addition to the local farms and vendors at the event, the market will also feature The Grays Harbor Stream Team, The GHC Fish Lab, and local group Clean Streams and Memes for information and activities related to the waterways.

The event will feature local gardens and farms selling their products, as well as vendors, a kids craft table from 10a-1p featuring Dodie Brogan, and music from DJ Mia Ohms from 11 to 3pm.

The market tells KXRO that the Friends of the Aberdeen Museum will also be on hand to look back at a year since the museum burned on June 9, 2018.

The Aberdeen Sunday Market reminded anyone visiting that it is an Authorized Market for the WIC and Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, adding “we will MATCH your FMNP check $1 for $1 at the Information Tent. You can spend your checks and matching tokens on Fruits and Vegetables with any of the Authorized Growers displaying the WIC & Senior sign”.

The market runs Sundays until September 18th from 10a-3p on Broadway in Aberdeen.
