ABERDEEN SCHOOL BOARD CONSIDERING PERSONNEL POLICY EXCEPTION

The Aberdeen School Board is looking to make an exception to a current personnel policy.

The policy in place makes it a violation to hire a family member or to hire someone to be put under the supervision of another family member.

The board is looking into making an exception for coach’s positions.

Board member Jeff Snell says it is too hard to find coaches as it is.

The board is planning to have its first reading of an exception of the policy at their next meeting October fourth.
