Aberdeen Registered Sex Offender notice

The Aberdeen Police Department is telling the public that a Registered Sex Offender has been released to the area.

Police say James D. Duncan was convicted in 2010 of Communicating with a Minor for Immoral Purposes in Thurston County.

In April 2011 and July 2012, Duncan was convicted of Failing to Register as a Sex Offender in both Thurston County and Grays Harbor County.

Duncan, who is listed as a transient by the Aberdeen Police Department, has been classified as a Level 2 Sex Offender with a moderate risk to re-offend.

He is NOT wanted by police at this time.
