Aberdeen ASL students organize preparedness event at AHS

The American Sign Language students from Aberdeen High School and Grays Harbor County Emergency Management are sponsoring a free preparedness event aimed at the disabled community, Senior Citizens and the entire Spanish speaking community.

The event will be held on Thursday, November 08, from 4-8pm in the Aberdeen High School Commons.

There will be Spanish speaking as well as American Sign Language interpreters at this special event to assist everyone who attends.

All Hazard Weather Radios and preparedness information will be available to attendees.

The Washington State Emergency Management Division, The American Red Cross, Grays Harbor County Emergency Management, as well as students and faculty from the American Sign Language classes at Aberdeen High School are sponsoring this event.
