ECOLOGY GRANT WILL KEEP HARBOR ROADS CLEAN

Grays Harbor County has received funding to cover supervisory and supply costs for the county litter control program from the Department of Ecology. The grant will bring the county just under $64-thousand for the litter patrols that will run from July 2011 to June 2012 clearing some staggering numbers of trash from county roads including 200-thousand pounds of trash. Commissioner Terry Willis says the grant will cover over 12-hundred miles of roads and 12-thousand hours of serviced crew work.
