5 people in Central Park accident after driver falls asleep

A driver fell asleep this morning and crashed their car in Central Park.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a 21 year old Forks Man was driving a 1995 Honda Civic around 1:30 this morning when he fell asleep.

As he was driving east through Central Park, the man left the highway near Hill Road, and drove into a fence and into a power pole.

While the driver was not injured, 3 Quinault women, ages 19, 19, and 20, were all taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital. A 21 year old Quinault woman was not injured. All 5 were wearing their seatbelts.

Drugs or alcohol were not involved. The Forks man was charged with Negligent Driving in the 2nd Degree.
