2 registered sex offenders moving into Aberdeen

The Aberdeen Police Department is informing the public of 2 registered sex offenders moving into the area.

29 year old John G. Gray was convicted in 2000 in Grays Harbor County for Unlawful Imprisonment, in 2006 in Thurston County for Assault 3rd with Sexual Motivation.

Gray has not completed any sex offender treatment programs. He is also currently on supervision from the Department of Corrections.

Gray has been classified as a Level 3 Sex Offender with a High Risk to re-offend.

Gray will be moving into the 2400 block of Simpson Avenue in Aberdeen.


John Gray

35 year old William R. White was convicted in 1990 in Grays Harbor County for Child Molestation 1st Degree, in 1994 for Rape of a Child 1st Degree and in 1999 for Child Molestation 3rd Degree.

White has been classified as a Level 3 Sex Offender with a High Risk to re-offend.

White will be moving into the 100 block of East First Street in Aberdeen.

There are 7 registered sex offenders located within the 100 block of East First Street.

According to Aberdeen Police, there are approximately 400 sex offenders registered to Grays Harbor, and 100 within the city limits of Aberdeen.

Both men have served the sentence imposed on them by the courts and have notified police of their location as they are required to do. Neither man is currently wanted by the police. The state is authorized to inform the public of an offender’s release when that information will enhance public safety and protection.
