UNDERCOOKED MEAT FOUND AT BURGER KING RESTAURANTS IN WASHINGTON

The “home of the whopper” is in some trouble with the State .

An inspection of Burger King restaurants in seven Washington counties  – including the one in Aberdeen– found that some burgers were not being cooked to the required minimum of one hundred fifty five degrees.

Department of Health Food Safety Manager Dave Gifford says due to a grill malfunction, many of the patties coming off the grill were not properly cooked.

Grays Harbor Environmental Health specialist Kristina Hollatz says the Aberdeen Burger King has corrected the problem with their grill and has confirmed the restaurant is cooking all hamburgers to the proper temperature.
