State Patrol looking for witnesses in Central Park hit and run

The is looking for any witnesses of a collision earlier this month. The accident on June 5 occurred just outside of Aberdeen at milepost 3 of Highway 12.

At approximately noon, a black 1996 Mazda pickup was travelling eastbound and was struck on the passenger side by a white camper trailer being towed by a red newer model extended cab pickup.

After the collision the truck and trailer, driven by an elderly man with an elderly woman passenger, continued eastbound on 12.

The driver of the Mazda stopped and was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital with minor injuries. Any possible damage to the camper trailer would likely be on the left side.

Troopers believe that it may be possible that the elderly driver may be completely unaware they struck the Mazda.

Anyone that may have witnessed the collision or may have information on the truck and camper is encouraged to call Trooper Tolon at 360-533-9332.
