SALES UP, PRICES DOWN IN REAL ESTATE LAST MONTH

The Northwest Multiple Listing Service has released its September sales report and residential real estate sales in the Harbor showed improvement over this time last year, and statewide there was a gain of almost 25% over September 2010.

However, the median price was down about 9% from September 2010.

Windemere’s Tom Quigg says year to date residential sales are down 3.3% for Grays Harbor County, but September 2011 sales are 18.75% greater than September 2010.

The communities of , Montesano, , and are all posting more sales for the three quarters of 2011 versus 2010.
