Robbery in Hogan’s Corner nets Icehouse, Swisher Sweets, and change

Monday morning, an alarm went off inside the Sunshine Deli & gas station in Hogan’s Corner. Around the same time, a citizen who had stopped to get fuel noticed the front window was shattered, but nobody appeared to be inside.

Deputies responded and contacted the owner. After looking at surveillance video, they saw 2 people breaking the glass on the front door with a large rock. They proceeded to steal two 18 packs of Icehouse, several Swisher Sweet Cigarillos, and a small amount of change. The suspects then fled the store running north.

Both suspects are believed to be young men in their teens or early 20’s.
One appeared to be taller with a thin build, wearing a light colored shirt, dark pants or sweats, black and white shoes, and a blue baseball hat with a red bill. The hat had what appeared to be a white logo on the front with white lettering on the side, similar to hats for the New York Giants, New England Patriots, or New York Rangers.

The second suspect was wearing dark shorts, a dark sweatshirt, dark socks, and what appeared to be dark flip flops. He was wearing the sweatshirt hood and another fabric to cover his face, but dropped his makeshift mask when he got to the beer cooler. That item has since been confiscated by GHSO.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the ’s Department at 360-249-3711.
