No changes in 3rd count of primary election results

The 3rd count of primary election ballots produced no changes in the closer races.

Aberdeen City Councilman and Allan Shores are the top 2 contenders to move onto the November election to fill the spot of incumbent Commissioner Mike Wilson. Wilson trails in that race in 4th place.

Shores and Gordon will be joining us this morning on Live@9.

Arie Callaghan is the top vote getter in the Grays Harbor PUD Commissioner race with over 49% of the vote. Chris Thomas remains in 2nd place with 26% of the vote. He leads Jeff Nichols by 100 votes. Callaghan and Thomas look to move onto the general election to replace retiring Commissioner Tom Casey.

The Fire District #5 property tax levy saw no changes after last night. The levy is trailing by 150 votes.

Fire Chief Dan Prater says that the majority No vote could mean drastic changes for the district.

Votes are scheduled to be certified on August 21st.
