National Night Out Against Crime coming up

National Night Out Against Crime is coming up soon and local departments will be involved.

The Hoquiam Police Department says that National Night Out which is Tuesday August 2nd provides an opportunity for our community members to get to know one another and build strong networks of communication about what’s happening in the neighborhood.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in local anti-crime efforts.
