Multiple agencies assist in Aberdeen arrest

A 38 year old Aberdeen man was arrested over the weekend after he damaged property inside a home.

The Aberdeen Police Department tells KXRO that late Friday night, officers were called to the 200 block of North A St.

When police arrived, the man was seen breaking windows at the home. When they made contact with the suspect, APD says that he came out of the home with a knife, and threatened to kill officers.

When the man went back inside the home he began to break windows and other items inside.

Cosmopolis and Hoquiam Police, ’s Office, and all responded to assist and the Aberdeen Fire Department was on scene if aid was needed.

When the home was surrounded, Officers were able to contact the man and he eventually) surrendered peacefully.

The man has been booked into for Malicious Mischief.
