Man robbed while jogging in Aberdeen

A man was jumped, assaulted, and robbed in Aberdeen yesterday morning.

The Aberdeen Police Department tells KXRO that yesterday morning at about 5:00am, there was an assault victim requesting contact in the 400 block of E. Street.

The man said he was just assaulted while jogging.

He said he was listening to music while running on State Street by Franz bakery when he got punched along the right side of his face.

The man said he was knocked to the ground and two men hit and stomped on him.

While lying on the ground, his I-watch and I-pod were stolen and the two suspects ran from the location.

After being cleared by Aberdeen Fire aid personnel, the victim provided a description of the two suspects.

He said both were white men with long hair and beards; one appeared to be roughly 5’10.
