GROUNDED BOAT IN OCEAN SHORES LEAKING FUEL

The 52-foot wooden fishing vessel that lost power and ran aground at is now breaking up in the surf.

The Coast Guard says the Dare II is leaking fuel and a light sheen is reported extending a mile north of the vessel.

The crew of three were rescued after the grounding Wednesday night.

The Ecology Department has hired a company to clean debris from the beach and the has hired a salvage company to get the boat moved.
