GRAYS HARBOR UNEMPLOYMENT DROPS IN JULY

The State Department says in Grays Harbor was down one half of one percent from June, to 12.6 percent.

July’s statewide unemployment was unchanged at 9.3%.

ESD says last month 5,700 jobs were added statewide (on a seasonally adjusted basis). The private sector gained 5,200 jobs over the month and the public sector gained 500 jobs.
