Grays Harbor Amends Transportation Improvement Project

The Grays Harbor County Commissioners passed a resolution amending their Six Year Transportation Improvement Program on Monday.

The Commissioners passed the resolution amending the plan because there is now money that has to be obligated within a month and half. Grays Harbor County Engineer Russ Estes explained there is a lot that needs to be done for the funding to get secured.

Estes said “For us to get those monies, we have to amend our program, and the state has to amend their program.”

Commissioner says this could be a great opportunity the County.

The Transportation Program will run through 2018.
