Along with the national and state races, locally voters will have chosen a new Grays Harbor County Commissioner as well as a new PUD Commissioner after tonight. In the highest watched races, Aberdeen City Councilman Frank Gordon and retiree Allan Shores are looking to replace Mike Wilson on the County Commission. Incumbent Terry Willis also faces off this election against opponent Wes Cormier. In the PUD race, Chris Thomas and Arie Callaghan look to replace retiring Commissioner Tom Casey.
Statewide, the Governor’s race between Republican Rob McKenna and Democrat Jay Inslee will see an end to months of opposing political ads with one gaining the edge to replace Governor Christine Gregoire.
