Commissioners admit violation of public meeting

The Grays Harbor County Commissioners admit they did not follow the open public meetings act in a decision made last week.

The commissioners were at an employee BBQ last week when they decided to let workers in the Public Works department go home early for the day.

The decision was made by the commissioners which Commissioner says was a violation.

Raines said she checked with an attorney for the county that said it was not something that would be considered a gift of public funds.
