The East Aberdeen Ace Hardware has informed employees that they will be closing their doors. Aberdeen Mayor Bill Simpson says a date for the closure of the Olympic Gateway Mall business has not been announced yet. Simpson says the news this morning came as a surprise to him and that he is sorry to see a local business close its doors. On the plus side, Simpson says he doesn't expect the building to remain vacant long, calling it a "great piece of real estate". |
