GRAYS HARBOR GUARD UNIT HEADED TO IRAQ

A Seattle-based Army National Guard unit is heading back to Iraq for a second tour. The Defense Department will mobilize the 81st Heavy Brigade Combat Team in August for large-scale training in Wisconsin. The unit will be mobilized for a year, providing security in Iraq. Ten guardsmen were killed on its first deployment.  The brigade includes the Montesano based Alpha Battery of the 2nd Battalion, 146th Field Artillery.
