A 57-year old Hoquiam man was arrested for possession of marijuana on Thursday night after a K9 search turned up 10 pounds of the drug in his car. Deputy Chief Jim Maloney says the car was stopped on the Port Industrial Road last night for not having it's taillights on. When officer Jeff Salstrom questioned the driver about the smell of marijuana in the car, the man reportedly admitted to having drugs for "a little more than personal use". A search by Salstrom and his dog Enno led to the discovery of the 10 pounds of processed marijuana and the seizure of $600 in cash. |
