INJURED GIRL IMPROVES TO SATISFACTORY CONDITION
A two year old Aberdeen girl has improved to satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The girl was injured when a minivan plowed into the Boone Street 7-11 in South Aberdeen on Friday afternoon. The girl was airlifted to Seattle in critical condition on Friday but was upgraded to serious condition on Saturday and today, spokeswoman Susan Gregg-Hanson says her condition improved to satisfactory. Investigators are still looking into what caused the driver of the minivan (a 57 year old Hoquiam man) to plunge through the convenience store before coming to rest against the back wall. Also injured was the girls 30 year old mother, who was treated and released from Community Hospital on Friday.
