20 year old Grays Harbor man dies in Pacific County accident

The ’s Office has released information about a two car accident Saturday night that left a 20 year old local man dead.

According to a release, they say that they received the call around 5 pm. When deputies responded found medical personnel attempting to save the life of one of the drivers, although PCSO says that 20 year old Austin Rojas-Newton was pronounced dead at the scene.

Talking to a father and son who were in the other vehicle, they were told that they had seen the other car coming toward them “at what appeared to be a very high rate of speed” and lose control, entering their lane. When the 2 vehicles hit each other, it sent the father and son off the road.

According to social media, the former  High School student and athlete currently living in Aberdeen.
